Man jailed for sex with autistic girl

A man who befriended a woman over the internet then had sex with her autistic teenage daughter was today jailed for more than three years.

Kevin Watson took the 15-year-old girl's virginity in her home when her mother left them alone last summer after telling her: "You. Upstairs. Bedroom. Now!"

They had sex again when Watson took the girl to a budget hotel and plied her with alcohol.

After chatting with the women over a period of time the fifty year old Watson drove from his home in East Sussex to County Durham to meet her and her family. During one of his visits to the family they had their first sex. During the next month they had sex several times more.

The defender said that Watson is not a predatory peadophile. "It was not in any way trying to get to a young girl via her mother". "It is simply the way it happened.’’

The offender had sec for five times with his victim and the judge says that he was fully aware of what he was doing. The judge sentenced him for 40 months and he is placed on the Sex Offender Register for life.

Peadophealia is often seen as a decease, I find that hard to believe. Is being a heterosexual a decease as well then? And being a homosexual? Thinking of homosexuality as a decease is against the law but why do we see peadophealia as a decease? I think that it is defending peadophiles on forehand. Just because it is against the law we see it as a decease. That is the exact reason why Muslims see homosexuality as a decease. I do not buy it. I think that peadophiles are just as aware of their sexuality as heterosexuals and homosexuals are. I also think that they are fully aware of what they are doing to their victims and that it is against the law.

The other thing that I do not agree on in this article is the penalty that Watson is getting. The act on its own should earn him about 20 years and thinking about psychological effects on the girl should put him in jail for the rest of his life. Before reading this article I thought that it were just the Dutch penalties that were for sissies but now I think that the whole ‘’civilised western court world’’ is going mental.

Post worker throws £100,000 winning Lottery scratchcard in the bin... and it's incinerated!

Cemal Celikkanat, the post worker, threw away his Lottery scratchcard after winning a £100,000. The man had been buying scratchcards for over six years and thought that the same rules applied to all the tickets, not realising they had changed over time.

When Celikkanat bought his first ticket he had to have three winning symbols in a row to win a price but now he only needed three symbols on one card. Celikkanat found out what he had done the next day. When a colleague asked him to collect her price of a £25 he saw her ticket did not had three of the same symbols in a row but just three the same symbols.

The post worker raced back to the shop where he bought the ticket the next day to check the bin, but heard it had been emptied and that the contents had been taken to the incinerator. He did manage to get the the serial number of the winning ticket but the scratchcard company told him that they, unfortunately, needed the original ticket to cash out. The post worker himself says: ‘I threw away £100,000. I feel so terrible, I think about it every day, it's had a massive impact on my life.’

I first laughed my head off when I read this article but then I felt very sorry for the man. It is not his fault he is ignorant, he only bought scratchcard for the last six years. This tells us that he must be very stupid and that really is not his fault. Overall, I think that people who buy scratchcards are stupid or at least not thinking clear. I bought one once and afterwards I could only come up with the words: 'what was I thinking?'. I was not.

In the Netherlands the gambling taxes for prices worth more than €454 are 29%. The odds of the best scratchcards are one out of three with prices starting at one Euro. This means, if you would buy a scratchcards each week for five euro your worst case scenario will be: 52x5= €260 - 17 = a loss of €243 which is probably also the most common scenario.
